• Any being that can shift from one form to another
• Werewolves are a form of shapeshifter that shifts a human into a wolf-like creature
• If shifting into a different human, the shapeshifter can access that persons memories
• This could explain why werewolves become animalistic when they shift - they are accessing the wolf 's memories
• Shapeshifters can be identified on photographs and video by a retinal flare
• Werewolves are created by humans being bitten by an existing werewolf

Vulnerabilities

• Silver - Either in bullet form or knife form
• Killing the sire - In the case of werewolves it is theorised that this may cause the human to no longer turn, but it hasn't been proved
