Interview with Chad Lindberg
When Chad Lindberg first appeared as Ash, fans weren't sure what to make of
him. He soon became a loved character throughout the fandom!

General Questions
How did you get into acting?
I started acting in high school doing plays. I realized then that I wanted
to do it professionally. I started to doing bit parts in Seattle until I landed
a lead in a seattle indie film which opened doors for me in LA. Ive been there
for 11 years.
You have your own MySpace page. Are you as computer literate as Ash, or
does technology scare you?
Technology frightens me deeply......deeply.
What movies and TV shows do you watch?
I love Lost. I'm a sucker for American Idol. Just saw Transformers. It rocked.
Other Roles
You are working on a film called "My Big Break" which has you
playing yourself in it - at least according to the IMDb.com website. Can you
tell us anything more about this film? Is it a sequel to "Carving Out Our
Name"?
Kind of very complex and long story. Go to mybigbreak.com. It will tell you
everything you need to know.
You've appeared in a lot of the crime genre shows (CSI, NYPD Blue, Cold
Case etc). Do you specifically enjoy this genre or is it something you just
"fell" into?
I'm not sure if I "fell" into it. But I tend to get cast as the
accused suspect often. If there is a interogation scene....fly in Chad Lindberg.
How much fun was it working on X-Files? What were David and Gillian like
to work with?
X-Files was awesome. They were very cool to work with. David especially.
In CSI:NY, you play a character called Chad. Was that coincidence, or was
he named after you?
Haha....they named the character after me. Kinda cool.
Supernatural
Having seen the end of Season Two, things aren't looking good for Ash. Have
you heard anything about next season yet?
Ya Ash sort of bit it didn't he?!! Basturds. It is Supernatural though...so
I suppose I could die and come back. The fans seem to like Ash...so one never
knows.
How did you get the role of Ash in the show? Was it through an audition,
or did they approach you?
I auditioned.
What was your favourite thing about being in Supernatural?
The mullet of course. Plus Jared and Jensen were super sweet guys to work
with.
If you could have any other role on the show, which would it be?
Just Ash...
Do you believe in ghosts?
Absolutely. Seen plenty of them. I have tons of ghost stories.
