Holmes, Adrianne moved to Los Angeles believing that getting into the
movies would be easy. She had known she wanted to be an actress from
the age of 5 and focused on acting throughout high school and college,
finally getting parts on the aborted TV remake of "Lost in Space"
and a small but vitally important role in Smallville.
She claims to be a sci-fi geek who knew a fair bit about
her character of Kara from the Superman comic books before even landing
the role.
