Official Episode Description
Sam and Dean capture a female vampire named Lucy who claims to
have no knowledge of how she became a vampire. The guys discover Dixon, a male
vampire, is giving out human blood to unsuspecting females in bars, offering
it up as the "latest drug" and turning them all into vampires.
Meanwhile, Gordon escapes from jail and goes after Sam. However, Dixon intercepts
Gordon and turns him into a vampire, which makes Gordon more powerful than before
and a much bigger threat to Sam.

There is a mistake in the official description - it states
that the vampire is giving human blood to young girls. Obviously, it's
vampire blood he is providing!

The actress playing Lucy is well-versed at playing vampires
- she is best known as the vampire Harmony in both Buffy the Vampire Slayer
and Angel the Series.
- This is the third time that vampires have been seen in the show. It is also
the third different behaviour pattern we've seen from the vampires.
- Gordon mentions that Bela was with the boys in Massachusetts, which finally
places the previous episode.
- Sam manages to kill Gordon with sheer brute strength. Remembering that,
at the time, Gordon was a vampire, that involves an awful lot of strength
from Sam. How did he get so strong?

Phencyclidine (a contraction of the chemical name phenylcyclohexylpiperidine)
is a street drug that is often abbreviated to PCP and is also known as Angel
Dust. It causes hallucinations, loss of coordination, rapid heart rate,
amongst other symptoms. It also causes the user to feel less pain, leaving
them often believing that they are indestructable.
