Official Episode Description

Sam and Dean investigate a string of robberies with a disturbing pattern - in each incident a trusted employee holds up the bank then commits suicide. However, when the autopsy reports shows their actual time of death as several days before the robbery, Sam and Dean realize the shape-shifter has returned.

The magazine Ronald shows Dean and Sam is an issue of the UK Paranormal magazine "Fortean Times". The creature on the front of the magazine is a Cyberman from the BBC TV series "Doctor Who".
The camera flare seen in the eyes of the shapeshifter were first seen in the season one episode "Skin".
Dean mentions that silver is pretty much the only thing that can kill the shapeshifter, which probably means he used a silver bullet to kill the shapshifter in St. Louis.
