Once a student at MIT (before he was thrown out for "fighting"), Ash is a genius. He appears to have built his own computer and can write computer programs complex enough to access weather satellites looking for demons. He spends his time at the Roadhouse but is highly regarded by the other hunters. Ash discovered the new demonic signs, but before he could tell anyone, the Roadhouse was burned down. He did however, manage to tell Ellen to look in the safe, where he had hidden the information. A body that is suspected to be his was found in the remains of the Roadhouse.

Barnes, Pamela

A friend of Bobby's, Pamela is one of the best psychics he knows. She offers to try and see who it is that brought Dean back from Hell, through a seance. She succeeds in contacting Castiel, but seeing his true face leaves her blinded. She has had white plastic eyes fitted, which she thinks gives her a more demonic look. In her words though she's "still got more senses than most", and doesn't let the loss of her eyes change her in any way. She assisted in unraveling Anna's past, but felt uneasy being around Angels, and left. She helped the Winchester boys once more when she helped them slip across into the spirit realm. During the event, she is stabbed by a demon, but with no reapers working, she seems fine. When the reaper is released, she dies, telling Sam with her last breath that what he is doing with his powers isn't good.

Caleb

Another friend of John Winchester, Caleb was the one John got many of his weapons from. He was also the person who revealed to Dean about the Daevas. He was killed by the demon in order to get to John.

Corbett, Alan J

Corbett is one of the Ghostfacers team. He is the intern of the group as well as being the cook, and has a crush on Ed. He is killed during the Ghostfacers "mission" to the Morton House. According to the subtitle card at the end of the episode, he was born in 1985, making him 23 years old.

Recommended by Missouri, Fletcher lived in Tempe, Arizona, and was able to identify the tooth as belonging to a Hellhound. He sent John off to California to track it down. He also sent another hunter after John to help him out.

When the Roadhouse was burned down, she was saved by the fact they had run out of pretzels - she left the Roadhouse to go shopping. She managed to save the information Ash had found and took it to Dean and Bobby. She is back hunting again, alongside her daughter and helped Rufus and the Winchesters against War.

Harvelle, Jo

Ichi was a hunter that Hunter and John met at Harvelles. He was tracking a Heeler, with John and Hunter tagging along. Hunter claims that the Heeler was actually a shapeshifter which killed then killed Ichi and took on his form. The shapeshifter as Ichi was killed by John.

Isaac

One half of a husband-wife hunting team, Isaac was tracking Envy, one of the 7 Deadly Sins, into a bar. Unknown to him or his wife, Tamara, the bar was frequented by the rest of the sins. He was killed when Gluttony forced him to drink drain cleaner. A demon later inhabited his body to trick Tamara, but she destroyed it with a stake made of Palo Santo. Isaac and Tamara had been married for 8 years and had a daughter who was killed by demons - an event that started them hunting. They had met Bobby previously.

Kubrick

A friend of Gordon Walker, Kubrick agrees to track Sam Winchester down for Gordon, who is still locked up in prison. A series of co-incidences, caused by a lucky rabbits foot, lead him directly to Sam and he, along with his friend Creedy, capture the youngest Winchester. Their plans are foiled by Dean, but Kubrick believes that he is on a mission from God to kill Sam. Although Gordon doesn't believe this, he still enlists Kubricks help to escape. After Gordon escaped, the pair worked together to find the Winchesters, including posing as FBI agents. However, when Gordon was captured by a vampire and turned into one himself, he killed Kubrick.

Mosely, Missouri

Missouri Moseley is a psychic. She met John Winchester for the first time after the death of his wife. Murphy, Jim

A pastor, Jim was a friend of John Winchester for many years. They were so close that Jim even looked after Dean and Sam on occasions. Although they hadn't spoken in a year, he still considered John a friend and refused to reveal his whereabouts to the demon. When he was 9 years old, his mother attempted to drown him and his brother. He survived but gained the ability to make the dead come to him. He does this for John at Hunters request and allows John to see Mary once more. He has several weapons in a special room in his church in Blue Earth, Minnesota.

Richie

Dean first met Richie when he saved him from a succubus. He and Sam then run into him when they are investigating the strange happenings in Elizabethville. Richie is killed by a Black-Eyed Demon (Casey) who knows he is a hunter and lures him to her with the promise of sex.

Shurley, Chuck

Chuck is protected by an Archangel who will intervene if he is threatened. Castiel uses this information to scare Lilith away by putting Chuck (and therefore the Archangel) in her way. He lives in Kripke's Hollow.

Singer, Bobby

Bobby owns a scrapyard and has known John Winchester and the boys for many years, although he did threaten to blast John full of buckshot on one occasion. He knows a lot about demonic possession and has a book called the Key of Solomon, which teaches the boys how to trap a demon. After the crash, he towed the Impala back to his yard in order for Dean to work on it. He also has a dog called Rumsfeld. Since John's death, he has taken on a father figure role to the boys and is often the first person they turn to. He was once married, but his wife became possessed and, not knowing what to do, he killed her. This was how he got started as a hunter. His full name is Robert Steven Singer.

When he is possessed and forced to attempt to kill Dean, he fought back and successfully stabbed himself with Ruby's knife, destroying the demon. The injury has left him in a wheelchair, unable to walk, or fight.

Spengler, Harry

Spruce, Kenny

Not truly a hunter in the usual sense, Bela hunts for supernatural artifacts rather than creatures, usually for very large fees. She often uses a spirit board to contact the dead for information. She first encounters Dean and Sam when she is tracking down a lucky rabbits foot. She has managed to con the boys on more than one occasion, most recently managing to steal the Colt from them.

She lives in an apartment in Queens, New York and has a pet siamese cat, although she is very guarded about revealing any personal information.

When she was 14 years old, Bela (her real name is Abby) met with a Crossroads demon in order to have her millionaire parents killed, offering her own soul. Now, 10 years later, the deal has come to its conclusion. At the stroke of midnight, Bela heard the hellhounds. Her exact fate is unknown, but it is unlikely that she survived. Before she died, she revealed to Dean that the demon holding his contract was Lilith - the same demon who held hers.

Tamara

Married for 8 years to fellow hunter Isaac, Tamara was forced to watch as her husband drank a bottle of drain cleaner - forced by the Gluttony, one of the 7 Deadly Sins. Turner, Rufus

A hunter who has long retired from active hunting, Rufus nonetheless still keeps involved in what is going on. When Bela approaches him, his curiosity is piqued and he gets in touch with Bobby, who has been tracking her. He knows a lot of things about a lot of people, including Dean's deal with the Crossroads demon and Bela's history. He lives in Caanan, Vermont and is a lover of blue-label Johnny Walker whiskey. He fought alongside the Winchesters and the Harvelles against War.

Walker, Gordon

Gordon is a hunter who is well known by Ellen. He tracks vampires mainly, as his sister was attacked and turned by a group when he was 18. He left home and went hunting the vampires, becoming so single-minded that he continued hunting them even when the vampires themselves were doing no harm. Somehow he discovered the special kids and decided to kill them, starting with Scott Carey and attempting to kill Sam Winchester. The boys laid a trap for him and he was arrested for the murder of Scott. He was in prison, but has convinced fellow hunter, Kubrick, that Sam Winchester needs to be killed. During the hunt for the Winchesters, Gordon was captured by a vampire and turned into one himself. Disgusted at what he had become, he swore to kill himself - as soon as he had killed Sam. When the two faced off against each other, despite Gordon's enhanced strength and speed, Sam managed to decapitate him using barbed wire.

Wandell, Steve
